For individuals looking for a more intensive program who are up to the physical challenge, FIT has developed a “High Performance & Endurance” specialty week. This is the same as our standard program, but we’ve increased the intensity, adding longer and faster-paced walks, and more rigorous strength and core training.

Who can participate in a “High Performance & Endurance” specialty week?
You know yourself better than anyone. If you think you have what it takes to go longer and harder, then this is the program for you. We welcome everyone from the professional athlete to the weekend warrior. Some come to shed a few pounds, to build the motivation to continue optimal performance and healthy living, or even to get back that competitive edge.
What are the requirements to participate in a “High Performance & Endurance” specialty week?
All you need is the will and capability, and we will provide the motivation. As with all FIT Tours, you will be required to obtain a medical release from your doctor, stating that you are in sufficient health to safely participate in the program.
How do the schedules and activities differ from the regular FIT Tour?
All schedules and activities will remain the same. The only difference is that we have increased the intensity, with longer and faster-paced hikes, and more rigorous strength and core training.
